Master’s Candidate in Human-Computer Interaction + Design (HCI+D) University of Washington 2019
I’m a dedicated digital communicator with experience at both ends of the spectrum, from disciplined to extremely unconventional. After graduating from George Mason University in 2008, I joined Cortina Productions as an Interactive Design Assistant producing touch screen interactives for museums across the country. I took a break from the creative industry to serve my country as an Intelligence Analyst for the United States Army from 2011 - 2015 where I used my expertise in design and analysis on multiple overseas deployments (OEF 2012-2013). I spent a year at Elon University studying interactive media before joining SharkDreams in Raleigh, NC working on a smart device that tracks medication consumption. My experience in military and civilian positions have shaped my comprehensive design views. Currently, I’m full-time student in the University of Washington’s Masters of Human Computer Interaction + Design Program (MHCI+D) looking for my next opportunity in the Fall.
