Interaction Designer + Army Veteran

b. 1986, HK.

Hello! I’m Bridget.

I’m an Interaction + Visual Designer living in Seattle, wa.

I’m a dedicated digital communicator with experience at both ends of the spectrum, from disciplined to extremely unconventional. After graduating from George Mason University in 2008,  I joined Cortina Productions as an Interactive Design Assistant producing touch screen interactives for museums across the country. I took a break from the creative industry to serve my country as an Intelligence Analyst for the United States Army from 2011 - 2015 where I used my expertise in design and analysis on multiple overseas deployments (OEF 2012-2013). I spent a year at Elon University studying interactive media before joining SharkDreams in Raleigh, NC working on a smart device that tracks medication consumption. My experience in military and civilian positions have shaped my comprehensive design views. I’m looking to fuse my diverse background at the MHCI+D program and apply technology to real-world problems.

In my free time you’ll catch me:

  • At a coffee shop

  • Hiking / at a yoga class

  • With my dog

  • At a museum / concert
