LIVIT | Medication Compliance
Lead UX/ui Designer
During my time at SharkDreams, I initiated the design process for implementation in future sprints by envisioning and documenting the core features and functionalities across the three different channels of the LIVIT ecosystem: a complex dashboard system, accompanying mobile application, and the calibration onboarding process for the LIVIT device. I led the design of several complex decision-strategy flows in the LIVIT ecosystem and the strategic vision through the conceptualization and design of engaging user experiences.

LIVIT is comprised of three applications: calibration for the compliance device that attaches to a prescription bottle, the patient LIVIT application, and the doctor portal. My role was to redesign all of the interfaces into a cohesive unit in conjunction with creating a visual standards guide. I also developed and wrote the product guidelines for each product.
Virtual Care technology can streamline the healthcare system, reducing unnecessary time and cost. It can also make it better for patients, bringing them closer to their providers and creating a higher level of care.
Non-adherence is at the center of some of the United States healthcare system’s most prominent drawbacks: cost, inefficiency, and poor patient outcomes.
LIVIT is a new approach to virtual care. It’s a digital clinic that lets patients and healthcare providers see medication use and health data instantly, continuously, and in real time.
The LIVIT app connects patients and healthcare providers. Together, they can review the patient’s health, conduct live chats, and even update prescriptions. All without an office visit. For patients who take multiple medications, the LIVIT app can send reminders and alerts to any changes in prescription or dosage.
While UX/UI were my main responsibilities at SharkDreams, as my first job in UX design, I learned the importance of wearing multiple hats in a start up environment. Working with multiple developer teams in different times zones became important for operations. Documenting work for sprints became a top a priority. I found the importance of consistency while I was redesigning the interfaces and I led the redesign of the company website, print collateral for trade shows, brochures, business cards, and led demos to clients to build a cohesive system within the products and the company. I also used my video skills to generate video prototypes and overview videos for clients about the company as a whole.
